Earlier this morning I took the chance to go to the shops as I was searching for the perfect guide book to help kick-start a healthier me.
I'm looking to lose some weight over the summer holidays as It's the perfect time to do so. The summertime is when I feel my most motivated to eat healthy and exercise. I'm not looking to go on an extreme 'diet', I would just like to set myself a goal to lose a stone or two over the summer. I prefer not to use those terms and call it a diet. I find if I'm being too strict with myself, I tend to give it up easily. I'm just simply looking to lose a few stone in my own time and at my own pace. I'm in no rush...
The book which caught my eye the most was - Charlotte Crosby: Live Fast & Lose Weight. I've always been a massive fan of Charlotte Crosby (Geordie Shore star). Ever since Charlotte lost 4 stone, I've been inspired to do the same ever since, I thought what's not better than buying her book to help me start my weight loss journey too?
It's easy saying this and I realise I've said I'll lose loads of weight in the past but now that Summer is upon arrival, I feel motivated, I'm determined to change my body now before It's too late! I feel the same as last summer, this year. Last year I managed to lose just below a stone by eating healthier with regular gym sessions. I always feel more determined when the weather starts to become nicer.
I've read through some of the book already. Charlotte talks about her weight loss story and the things she eats to stay strong and healthy.
Altogether their are 80 recipes including, breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's loads of meals to choose from too! I'm not a huge fan of eating healthier foods like fish, veg, etc. however, I am very willing to give it a try. (Even if I don't enjoy it). The book even includes Charlotte's cheat days which you can follow too. It's great too see Charlotte sharing her cheat days, considering It's rare you see it in the majority of these diet books. It's nice to see some honesty rather than denying the guilty pleasures we eat to promote the most perfect and healthiest lifestyle like most celebrities.
Overall I think this book is really great! I'm looking forward to using this to help get fit and healthy. I'm going to start this from Monday.
