Kim Kardashian Held At Gunpoint: Where's the sympathy and thought for one another's vulnerability and safety?
Hope you've all had a wonderful start to the week. Just a short post for you all today.
Let's start this week off and deliver an emergency wake-up call for those who need a well taught lesson of when it's not OK to fool around and be small-minded when it comes to other's vulnerability...
So you may well of heard that American reality TV star Kim Kardashian was robbed an estimated $10 million of jewellery goods at her hotel room in France whilst attending Paris Fashion Week when armed robbers broke into her hotel room in the early hours of today and held her at gunpoint.
Scrolling through much of my Twitter news feed in shock horror at what I've just read about my favourite ever Kardashian and what has been happening, my very first thought was: "I hope she's OK?" or "Oh my! what's just happened?" whilst feeling major sympathetic for somebody who had a lucky escape from being murdered.
Looking at the other half of my Twitter feed in disgust of the amount of hatred and mockery I've just come across is pretty sad and enough to make you feel angry at how horrible people can be about somebody, regardless of how rich or famous, we're all human beings and deserve to be respected.
There is nothing funny about Kim Kardashian being held hostage with a gun beside her head. She may be rich but she's also a mother, sister, wife and a human being just like the rest of us. If you find that amusing then I think you should go seek professional help pretty quickly.
People saying: "Who cares if she got robbed?" I'm sure nobody cares about your careless and ruthless opinion, If the shoe was on the other foot, would it be a laughing matter to you? Nope, I'm not convinced it would be.
Anyone making light of a scary and potentially life threatening incident should really be ashamed of themselves. Have you really got any form of sympathy inside you if somebody's welfare was in great danger?
Imagine yourself in this position and how scary it would be for you. Some of us are all for having a joke and a laugh but when somebody is in danger. It's not a laughing matter at all!
For those of you who think it's funny or it's good to be inconsiderate, please think again, because I'm sure this world will be a much better place without the hatred and mockery.
