Held hostage for seven years in a 10x by 10x boxed room, a woman and her 5-year-old son finally gain their freedom, allowing the boy to experience the outside world for the very first time
It's not very often I write movie reviews however, recently I've been visiting the Cinema a little often due to keeping myself occupied and spending time with my family.
I wanted to review this movie named 'ROOM' as it's such a powerful and intense performance.
It keeps you in suspense for the whole 2 hour duration of the movie, you don't realise where the time's gone because it just draws you into the story.
It's not your average true story which can often feel the same as any other. it's a unique and unusual performance which surprises you and really gets you thinking about the tragic events which occur in lives around you. It's a real eye-opener.
I don't want to spoil it for you and give the whole story away although there is a novel as it's based on true events. That's going to be next on my hit-list.
I'll let you know what that's like once I've got to read it.
