Coach Trip has returned to our screens and this time it's the road to Marbs. Once again, an eager gang of fun, young holiday-makers will be hopping on board, this time on a sun-soaked tour of southern Spain from the Balearics to Marbella.
Here, I talk exclusively to one of the contenders of the trip, Adam Philpot, to find out what we can expect from him and reveals his most favourite all-time holiday...
What made you apply for Coach Trip?
I watched the last series of Road To Ibiza and knew I'd be able to smash it. It seemed like an amazing opportunity to meet new people, try new activities and have a free holiday!
What can viewers expect to see from you on the show?
Hopefully viewers will see the fun side of me. I definitely went on the show purely to have fun and I formed bonds with people straight away so hopefully that comes across. There were times when I got a little frustrated at people during the votes so you might just see my angry side creeping out sometimes too.
Describe what a perfect holiday looks like for you...
I'm an Ibiza boy so a one-way flight to the party capital of the world for the Summer would suit me perfectly. I love a beach, a strawberry daiquiri and some good music.
What’s the longest time you’ve ever spent away from home?
2 years ago I worked doing a season in Ibiza for a few months so that was the longest really. Coach Trip seemed easy in comparison!
What type of person would you least like to spend time with on the coach?
There's a lot of spare time on the coach when we're travelling from place to place so I really didn't wanna be stuck on there with anyone boring where conversation doesn't flow. You'll have to wait and see if that actually goes my way though!
Have you ever had a holiday romance?
I wouldn't say a "romance" but there's definitely been a few holiday flings. Perfectly acceptable when you're on holiday, right?
If your suitcase got lost what would you miss the most?
My hairdryer. Or my trainers. This is why you need to be really careful and put the items you most care about in your hand luggage!
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten on holiday?
When we were on the coach, one of the activities Brendan set us to do was to make goat's cheese. I mean I know this wouldn't normally be classed as "weird" but I can't stand animals and making it myself was a challenge. It tasted vile as well.
Which celebrity would you choose to take on holiday with you if you had the chance?
Oooh. After watching the recent series of CBB I'm gonna say Jedward. At least you'd always be entertained - it'd have to be a short holiday though as I don't know how much of them I could cope with, haha!
